How do I place an order?
Online
All online purchases are processed using Paypal. To shop, simply add items to your cart by clicking the “add to cart” button. When you are ready to place your completed order, click the “view cart” button, and follow the checkout instructions to pay with Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. YOU DO NOT NEED AN ACCOUNT WITH PAYPAL to use paypal. Simply check out as a guest. **PayPal is a secure server so you can feel safe shopping at Bluebottle Art Gallery!
Telephone
For phone orders, you may use the shopping cart function to assemble your order. Instead of proceeding with the credit card transaction, you can print out the order form to use as a reference and give us a call at 206.325.1592. Phone orders may be placed between 1pm and 6pm (PST), Tuesday through Sunday. We are also happy to call you if you send us an e-mail request including a good time to contact you.
Mail
We accept money orders and checks. Please indicate artist name and piece. To assure we hold the piece until payment arrives, it is best to phone-in or e-mail your request. If paying by check, please allow five (5) business days for checks to clear.
What happens after I order?
When we receive your order, we make sure the item is available. Although we do our best to keep the website up to date, all items are subject to availability. As the work we show is completed by individual artists at times an order may take a few weeks to be completed. Typically work is shipped within three days of placement of your order. If you have an item you would like to be sure arrives by a certain date please get in touch and we will try our best to accomodate your request.
Once payment is completed, we will pack up your purchases and ship them to you. Pieces included in a gallery show will be shown throughout the month and sent the first week of the following month. For example a piece in a gallery show in September will be shipped the first week of October.
We will notify you when the item has shipped. We will include a tracking number as well as the web site where you can track your package progress.
Total charges include shipping, handling, and sales tax (WA State only).
What Does Out of Stock Mean?
This means the piece has been returned to the artist. If interested in a piece listed as such feel free to get in touch and we can check with the artist to see if it is still available.
Tax
9.0% sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped within WA State.
Shipping
We will do our best to approximate shipping charges. If paying online, each piece has shipping included. Rates are based on shipping and handling charges via Fed Ex. If your piece does not seem to fit the below pricing feel free to get in touch and we can adjust the shipping costs accordingly.
$.01 to $20.00 = $3.50
$20.00 - $100.00 = $6.00
$100.00 - $200.00 = $10.00
$200.00 - $350.00 = $15.00
$350.00 and higher = $20.00
International Shipping
Shipping is an additional $10.00 according to the above chart. In some instances we may get in touch if extra shipping costs are applicable.
Gift Certificates
If you love the work we showcase but not sure what to get someone as a present one of our gift certificates would be ideal!
You can purchase a gift certificate for anyone in any amount. Gift certificates do not expire. The recipient will be able to use the certificate online or in person. The certificate will provide them a code which they can input online during the check out process or they can bring the certificate into our store to redeem. The certificate can be e-mailed or you can print it out so you can present it to them personally.
Returns
We do not accept returns. If you would like to discuss a particular situation feel free to contact us.

Preview List
Each exhibition features a preview sale available only to clients who sign up on our special preview list. The preview show features work that will be shown in the exhibition but you get first view of the exhibition and ability to pre purchase works. If you are looking for a particular artist for a specific aesthetic, commissioned piece, or project, we would be more than happy to recommend an artist or contact a particular artist on your behalf. We do not distribute artists’ personal information for any purpose. If you would like to contact an artist, feel free to send us an e-mail which we will forward to the artist on your behalf.
