Charles Glaubitz
Charles' work reflects the strong presence of hybridism in his life. His father is a German American from Nebraska and his mother is from los Mochis Sinaloa, Mexico. In addition Charles lives in what has been termed the "La Linea/ The border" inside the paradox of Tijuana, Mexico, and San Diego, California. The work is a reflection of the cultural duality that is present in his upbringing as well as the day to day life of living in two vastly different cities.
